Renovation Spotlight: 127 Richmond Hill Road Introduction

Development Approach
While the pre-renovation unit featured excellent square footage, a first-floor master suite with laundry on the same level, the floor-plan was choppy and outdated. The main focus of this project is to open up the kitchen to the living and dining area by removing the wall that separated the two spaces. By relocating room entrances, the flow through the unit is greatly improved. Another primary focus area for this project was to redesign the master suite to better utilize the space and create a more functional layout. Minor tweaks to the second-floor yield two large bedrooms with better closets, flexibility for second-floor laundry, and more spacious common areas. Finally, the basement will be finished to add an additional 600 square feet of living space to the home, perfect for an office space or fourth bedroom.
Notable Designer Features
Throughout the planning process, designer features were added throughout the property. The new open concept kitchen and dining area will feature shaker-style painted cabinetry, granite/quartz counter tops, and a Bosch appliance package.
With enhanced lighting and new hardwood floors throughout, the space will feel bright and open. The crown molding as well as larger window and baseboard trim provide extra charm. All of the bathrooms will be fully updated, featuring beautiful marble tile and counter tops, as well as Kohler hardware.
